Premier Manufacturing has been the leader in pintle hitch production since 1924. Company founder Dewey Weiss created the first-ever pintle hook, laying the foundation for Premier’s innovation. In the late 1950s, our engineers developed the slack-reducing system, which reduces wear on the pintle hook and drawbar eye.
Today, Premier Manufacturing produces the most widely-used pintle hitch amongst LTL carriers and vocational haulers. Should you require a unique option, many of our couplings are available in our Saf-Tite, Premalloy, and Extended Life applications.
